Teoti

I created a game called Teoti as part of the Global Game Jam over a 48 hour weekend. The theme for this jam was "Mask".

In Teoti, you play as the Copper Man, using the power of the Mask of Three Ages. The mask is based on a real Aztec artifact that depicts the phases of life.

When young, you are strong and resilient, and get into reckless situations. When surrounded, activate a shield which explodes after a set time, killing enemies around you. 

When older, you are wise yet frail from your advanced age, and heal as long as you're safe.

In death, you reap what you sow. Your life is halved, yet you are able to defeat your enemies in one hit.

CONTROLS: 

1, 2,  3 on your keyboard to switch mask modes. Left click to attack. Hold c for shield with the Young form. For game jam demo purposes,  enemies don't start spawning until you hit 7 on the keyboard, and there is no restart outside of Alt-F4.
